Breast Imaging, Reimagined

Founder and Medical Director Dr. Beth Deutch is proud to announce that HerSpace Breast Imaging Associates was awarded the ‘Breast Imaging Center of Excellence’ award by the American College of Radiology. This unique facility has won accolades due to its personal approach to breast imaging and its commitment to being at the forefront of technology in the early detection of breast cancer. Designed as an alternative to the annual hospital visit for routine mammography and breast imaging exams, HerSpace offers an inviting, spa-like atmosphere and a personalized experience. Their brand-new, “green” facility features 10,000 square-feet of soothing spaces, warm colors, music, and a one-of-a-kind art collection that makes HerSpace truly unique. There are a number of reasons that make HerSpace a cut above the traditional hospital setting; every part of your experience at HerSpace is thoughtfully and personally designed to get you more accurate, timely results and personalized attention in a setting unlike any other.

guiding-1It matters who reads your mammogram.

Studies have shown that radiologists who specialize in breast imaging, e.g. have fellowship training, years of experience and concentration of practice, ultimately find more breast cancers than general radiologists. Finding breast cancer in a mammogram, ultrasound or MRI is not automatic. It involves pattern recognition that requires a broad mental database of imagery and feedback from numerous previous biopsies that comes with experience and focus, and it requires unwavering attention that is impossible in a multispecialty practice. We all recognize the value of specialists in many walks of life and do research to procure them for matters important to us. Dr. Beth Deutch and Dr. Lori Gormley are two of New Jersey’s most experienced and dedicated breast imagers, with impressive training credentials from the country’s top medical schools and radiology residencies.
